Chimney Rock Village in Rutherford County, NC was washed away during Hurricane Helene and rescue efforts are still underway as I write this the morning of September 29. Our hearts are broken and I have wept so many times seeing this horrific destruction right up the road from where I live. 

Appalachia is such a beautiful place, with incredible and delicate ecosystems, gorgeous vistas, incredible sights, and vibrant communities. 

This hand painted design is 4" round on 18 mesh.
