Known for her use of humor, bright color, and bold forms, Melissa Prince is the designer of over 500 hand-painted needlepoint canvases. When Melissa left a career in media advertising, she knew she wanted to create something that was her own. As a natural artist, she loves to paint. A friend noted that a current project would make a beautiful needlepoint canvas. She took a few needlepoint canvases to a local shop in Plano where they were all sold the next day, and a new needlepoint line was born.
